Ingredients
- **Flour:** 2 1/2 cups (approx. 312.5 grams)
- **Sugar:** 1 cup (approx. 200 grams)
- **Cocoa:** 1/3 cup (approx. 33 grams)
- **Baking Soda:** 1 tsp (approx. 5 grams)
- **Salt:** 1/2 tsp (approx. 3 grams)
- **Oil:** 3/4 cup (180 ml)
- **Vinegar:** 2 tbsp (30 ml)
- **Vanilla:** 1 tsp (5 ml)
- **Water:** 1 cup (240 ml)
Method
- Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
- Add oil, vinegar, vanilla, and water to the dry ingredients.
- Mix well until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch baking pan (NOT GLASS).
- Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
