Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar (300 grams)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour (345 grams)
- 2 tsp cream of tartar (6 grams)
- 1 tsp baking soda (5 grams)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp sugar (for rolling) (38 grams)
- 3 tsp cinnamon (for rolling) (8 grams)
Method
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine dry ingredients with a sifter.
- Blend dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
- Chill dough for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Roll one-inch dough pieces in it.
- Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
- Remove from pan immediately.
